ANCC board certified as a psychiatric nurse practitioner
M.S. in nursing, Ph.D. in psychology, M.Ed. in counseling
I have worked in mental health and human development for over 20 years, with training that bridges psychiatry, psychotherapy, and developmental psychology. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctorate in developmental psychology and a master’s degree in counseling, I bring an integrated perspective to psychiatric care—one that considers symptoms within the broader context of an individual’s history, relationships, and emotional patterns.

I value getting to know my patients in depth and working collaboratively over time. My approach to care emphasizes thoughtful medication management informed by psychotherapeutic principles, along with guidance around health promotion, lifestyle factors, and other supportive interventions. Visit length and focus are tailored to each individual’s needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

I founded Red Clover Wellness in 2017 after relocating with my family from the Northeast to Portland. Prior to opening this practice, I served as Director of Psychopharmacology for an integrative mental health practice in the Boston area. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety disorders (including obsessive-compulsive disorder), mood instability, depression, trauma-related concerns, and challenges related to life transitions.

At Red Clover Wellness, care is person-centered and grounded in respect for each individual’s inherent strengths. You are more than a diagnosis, and lasting improvement often comes from building on what is already working, not just reducing symptoms. My goal is to provide psychiatric care that combines current medical knowledge with the enduring value of human connection and empathy.

I believe effective psychiatric care balances clinical expertise with genuine human connection.
